The Army that further wounds it’s wounded..

Please if you have any critiques on this or some advice for me, send me a mail : Thanks.

Hey Everyone,

First of all, I am so sorry for not writing something all this while. I really am, :). Thank God I am alive and you are too!

So, I would be telling a little story( a fictional one).Just like the previous blog post. God bless you as you read on.

Coast is one island that is known for its victories against it’s only opponent, Blackans.
Interestingly, something strange usually happens whenever these two countries are fighting.

An incident which brings this to light?

1983, The usual war is ongoing. Mother nature isn’t smiling at all, The war has just entered its fourth day and the rain is pouring in torrents. The coastan soldiers are pressing on, winning obviously against their only opponent. Thomas Blank, a soldier from the former has just been shot, in the leg. He was without his leg armour, he left it somewhere he himself can’t even remember. Some of his fellow soldiers look at him “For the life of me, why would any soldier misplace his armour, let him handle that”,  some of them say.

But Blank definitely needs help, He is losing lots of blood now.

Quite strangely but very frequently, many soldiers from his team move on, calling Blank a ‘no worthy soldier incapable of fighting in the war’, some(overzealous trigger-happy soldiers) even ‘mistakenly’ shoot him now in the other leg and move on. Only one person comes around and tries to help Blank. Blank’s situation deteriorates and he dies. The winning country just lost one more soldier.

Just like that, the usual just happened. Coast is winning, losing Soldiers but few are noticing.

#MainPoint :

Sometime ago, i read or probably heard this saying: “Christianity is the only army that shoots its wounded and move on” paraphrase.

How true is that! Now, I must admit, I’m guilty of this sometimes too but there should be change! Yes. Some scenarios (which may sound familiar) would be something along the lines of “Jesus Christ, you mean Sister Fiona did this! A Christian after all these years, I am disappointed” Sadly, it ends there. Or something like “Too bad, That Pastor really suprised me, he is a fake man” and then we end up painting our ‘own soldiers’ in colours. Red, blue , black, indigo and Aqua till others get the bucket of paint and continue the job. Colours of death!

Does this solve anything? No! At all, We have to make sure we do all in our power (that is right ) to restore the ‘wounded soldier’. Praying would be a good thing to do instead of shooting and painting.

The greatest book says in Galatians 6 : 1 that : Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.(AMPlified version).

Now, if you are not mature or spiritual, prayers would help a lot. You could put that wounded soldier on your prayer project and show love to him. Remember, love all!

If Jesus didn’t do anything but was just ‘shooting’ the sinners he came to save in earth, do you think he would have died for us? Faith and action work together, You pray, you show love.

It was Sidney Smith who said “It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do little — do what you can“..

If we could all hear one another’s prayers, God might be relieved of some of his burdens. ~Ashleigh Brilliant

If you have no will to change it, you have no right to criticize it. ~Author Unknown

Be on the look out: Another wounded soldier is nearby..
